The Certificate III in Children’s Services is regarded as the entry level qualification to a career in the early childhood industry. Students are introduced to the skills and knowledge relevant to the children’s services profession. This qualification covers workers who use organisational policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental milestones.Vocational outcomes for graduates of this qualification may include:
- Child care assistant
- Family day carer
- Nanny
- Out of school hours care assistant
- Unqualified child care worker
